They can be packed down to sizes smaller than a child’s lunchbox for easy transport, they have no moving parts as they are all one piece and they can be ready for flight so easily and quickly people have been known to deploy them in air after jumping off bridges and buildings. Now with a WPPGA certified paramotor, the safety, stability and convenience of the cloth canopy can be utilized for an all new level of versatility. How, where and when you land is now completely up to the pilot. With applications in Search & Rescue, police, military, recreation, sport competition and others, the convenience of a portable, safe and easy to use backpack aircraft is now a reality.
A Powered Paraglider can launch from a plane, off a cliff or even from flat ground. If you powered paraglider you can fly as far as 280 miles, as high as 18,000 ft with a top speed of 50mph. With the ability to powered paraglider out of the back of an airplane you could fire up the motor after your canopy opens and fly hundreds of miles. Or a powered paraglider could glide into an otherwise inaccesable area and then launch again and fly back out.
